What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For Notary process, identification is required such as drivers license, ID, US passport and/or any government ID with photo. Then I verify authenticity of the signer and complete my journal. Some documents and Deeds require thumb print. The entire process take around 5-10mins in general. Signer must present in person for notarization.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As of 2023, I've provided Notary Service for over 16 years. Notary public is required to retake the tests every 4 years. Background check is required each license renewal. As a real estate broker for over 23 years, I notarize all real estate related documents, Trust documents, loan docs, acknowledgement, Jurat, power of attorney, etc.

Notary fee is $15 per page per signature. Travel fee is generally $50. After hour and long distance travel fee may vary.
How did you get started in this business?
I am also a real estate broker. Notary services are always needed in escrow transaction. I've obtained my notary license to assist my real estate clients. Then, I've also assisted anyone needing notary service.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Notaries are not an attorney. We do not give advise on documents. We are an witness to the signer. We only verify the signer. This is our primary job. Since I am also an real estate agent, I can provide real estate advise.
