About

I believe in meeting my clients where they are. My priority is creating a safe space where authentic and vulnerable collaboration can nurture positive change. I believe that while all individuals possess the ability to be healthy and happy, sometimes life events, obstacles or unhealthy patterns cause us to loose confidence in our ability to achieve our goals. The right support can elevate hope and get us back on track.

I have a wealth of experience working with teens and young adults on the autism spectrum, or diagnosed with learning disabilities, or who have IEP’s and are struggling with emotional and academic challenges.

I have had success with adults and teens who seek to resolve anxiety, adaptive life skills, depression, and work/school related stress. I am primarily guided by Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy.

In addition to talk therapy I do also offer Adaptive Life Skills Therapy, Social Skills Coaching and DIR/Floortime Therapy.

Frequently asked questions

My typical process is first having a consultation session, seeing if it is a good fit for both the client and the therapist. The first session is focused on reviewing together the intake and setting out the client's long and short-term goals. Over the next 8 sessions I then focus on providing my clients with psychoeducation about their symptoms, discussing symptom reducing strategies, and collaborating with the client on how to best support them in finding the best strategies for them and helping them consistently implement those strategies to reduce their symptoms. Throughout this process I do weekly checkins to monitor their progress on their goals and symptom reduction.

I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy from Pepperdine University in Malibu. I work with multigenerational clients in a variety of settings to help them achieve their individual goals such as emotional regulation, coping skills, communication skills, social skills, play skills, and academic performance. I work with middle school age children to senior citizen clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and school issues.

The standard pricing system is a sliding scale, which is based on your monthly income.

I have a wealth of experience working with men and women in transition and young adults struggling with emotional or academic challenges. I have strong strategies for managing anxiety, depression, work-life-balance and goal completion. I am also an experienced autism spectrum Floortime therapist, and regularly support learning disabilities and IEPs in the role of a DIS Counselor.
