Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Setting their appointment, meeting at my office, they fill out a quick basic info sheet, I interview them in a casual conversational manner while preparing their return with the information I'm gathering, review the outcome, offer how they would like to pay prep fees, print return, collect signatures and provide them with their copies.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Started reviewing & correcting returns as an admin assistant in 2008. Progressively over the years got more in depth, eventually taking the necessary classes to obtain my CTEC certification. I stay updated on tax law changes every year, as well as taking classes and training that may benefit my individual and business clients.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Basic returns are $100 & include one state. $50 for a schedule C (business owner), $20 for most other forms.
How did you get started in this business?
I actually began in data entry for a tax company and became an assistant learning taxes from the inside out. Which I'm so very glad I did, I feel it gave me a much more comprehensive understanding how our lives can effect what could be potential deductions.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with basic w2 only clients to clients with multiple rentals, depreciation schedules, and businesses making over 500,000 in income.
