We have been in business since 2006. We have an IRS Enrolled Agent available to work with the IRS in any state or country if needed, and we will resolve your federal or state tax issues.
We offer federal and state income tax services with e-filing as an Authorized IRS e-file provider for individuals and businesses and to any state where available. Fillable forms are available when e-file is not available. Additional client copies are always provded at no charge in the future if needed.
We have been doing business and personal taxes since 2006 for the public and for multiple family businesses since 1982. We use the best and latest professional software available and subsribe to the best tax reference sources to offer the best service possible.
We have clients throughout the US, in Europe, and Asia providing accounting and income tax services for individuals and small businesses.

Robert Ferguson, our Owner, holds BSEE and MBA degrees with specialties of Accounting and Finance. He has been an IRS authorized tax preparer and negotiator since 1982.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free initial consultation and interview. All information is confidential and kept strictly privite within the company. If we prepare your tax forms, we retain copies of your records and tax forms in the event you need copies for any reason.
They are always free to you when requested. We only share what we have when you request it and provide authorization for us to do so.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Robert Ferguson has a 160 college credit hours and two degrees. A BS in Electrical Engineering and and a Master's in Business Administration. He is an IRS authorized tax preparer for personal and all business forms and an e-file provider for all tax forms, both personal and business.
His wife Marie is his long time partner and wife of 51 years. She holds an Associates degree in accounting.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We do not have a standard price for any of our services and prefer to provide a quote to each client for the service to be provided as each clients forms are unique. It keeps their fee as low as is reasonably possible while providing the best service needed for each task. Our hourly rates for accounting services are competitive and provide the best in all of the services avalable while using the best software for the task available as well.
How did you get started in this business?
Sonoran Consultng & Finance LLC is an out growth from education and busiensses that we have been involved in for more than 40 years. we have been doing accounting and tax services now for over 13 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with individuals and small to medium sized businesses for tax preperations serivces and we are an IRS Authorized e-file provider. We provide accounting and other business services for busioness up $5 million in sales annually.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
W saved one client $2 million one year in a tax penalty they received for their business. In 2017 we saved a client over $45,000 in taxes that were not owed that the IRS claimed that they were. Three years before that we saved a client $35,000 in taxes that were not owed.
We believe you should not ever pay more tax than what is owed - ever.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are a certified pro in accountibng and that they are an authorized IRS e-file provider for all tax services, not just for the 1040 forms which many are limited to. It too often shows they truely don't have the bakground to properly perpare your taxes

How soon can I expect a refund once I file my taxes?
Will using direct deposit to my bank accout get me my refund faster?
