Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will typically do a series of video conference calls as follows:
Intent Call - A brief call to determine the intentions and goals.
Trust Call - A conference call to make introductions, understand the business in more detail, and begin the process of conceptualizing high-level strategic ideas.
Prescription Call - A conference call to review what I would prescribe as the next steps in a marketing plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a combination of 40 years of experience in sales and marketing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing can monthly, hourly, fixed, or as a retainer.
How did you get started in this business?
From the ground up, failing, learning and eventually succeeding. The importance of this shows in the ethical nature of my operation.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Software, Automotive, Massage Therapy, Technology, Consumer Products, Healthcare, Education, to name a few....
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Unfortunately, there are a lot of 'fake it 'til you make it' marketing folks out there, which is why I moved from being a strict service offering to a consultant who can then recommend service offerings. I found that I am best suited in the arena of ethics when it comes to marketing. Particularly in the Digital Marketing space, there are right and wrong practices, and I help people ask the right questions even if they don't work with me directly.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
It really depends on the goals of a particular project, but I can certainly help a person through that.
