I am a financial service company specializing in tax preparation services for individuals and businesses. I founded Gees Tax Services to serve the community providing financial literacy from beginning to end. I have officially been doing taxes for a year. However, I have a degree in accounting and Business Admin and Supervision. I am a registered agent for the state of Maryland and able to serve all 50 states. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer is to set up a phone or zoom consultation. This way you get to see/meet who is assisting you as well as I get to know more about you to know how to best meet your needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered tax return preparer and a certified tax professional. I have also been approved by the IRS as a trusted preparer.

Gees Tax Services provides standard pricing based on what you are filing which covers you for your federal and state return. We also have standard pricing for business clients.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started with Gees Tax Services so assist my community with financial literacy. Financial literacy is an area I noticed could use tender love and care and decided to provide that value to the community to education where I can. I began be getting a degree in accounting but after getting my degree I was not sure where to start. After a few years of testing out jobs I foudn where I was meant to be.
What types of customers have you worked with?
In my time as a tax preparer I have worked with individual filers, partnerships, scorps, c corps and estate taxes. I have more to learn to continue to grow my business as well as education my clients.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I am fond of is a new client that I was not only able to assist with his taxes but his personal life. This particular client is not computer savvy so I walked him through the whole process setting up an online banking profile to get his account number and more. My mission is to be able to assist past doing your taxes and on this day I genuinely felt this and appreciated what I do even more.
