About
Integration Consulting Services provides support to the entire family, not just the person receiving occupational therapy, anxiety, or curative education services. When the whole family is supported through education, guidance, and compassion, therapy results are improved.
I have been an occupational therapist specializing is neurodevelopment movements, sensory integration and kenesthetic learning for almost 20 years. I am also certified in Waldorf remedial/curative education.
I have training in biomedical interventions for Austism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, PANS/PANDAS, and mental health disorders such as anxiety.
I am a certified medical aromatherapist.
I love that I get to collaborate with families. I love creating a specialized plan for each client and helping them meet their goals. The neurodevelopment movements that I use as the foundation of my practice can be life changing and help support success in all other areas of therapy.
I also love supporting families through nutrition and supplementation support. I have access to a wide network of health practitioners to support therapys such as accupunturists/ traditional chinese medicine practitioners, chiropractors, naturopaths, and cranial sacral therapists.

How did you get started in this business?
I worked in sensory integration and early intervention facilities in my early years as an occupational therapist. Then, I decided that I would like to have my own therapy practice so that I could further customize the work with my clients.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients who have autism, sensory integration challenges, ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, handwriting challenges, dyslexia, dysgraphia, stroke patients, parkinson's patients, and those with severe multi sensory disabilties.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Last year I started working with a family who's child had ADHD and was beginning to have low self-esteem. After further assessment, it was determined that this child had not integrated primitive reflexes and had some difficulties processing proprioceptive information (information coming from the movement of the joints and muscles). Once we started providing proper support and increased proprioceptive activities, along with neurodevelopmental movement exercises, this child quickly integrated primitive reflexes and teachers began to comment how much better this child was doing in school. Other adults in this child's life also began to comment that they noticed a difference in this child's confidence levels.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they understand the sensory needs of your child. Make sure they understand the importance of integrating primitive reflexes and how they relate to academic success in reading, writing, and math.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are your child's strengths? What are your child's challenges? What goals need to be acheived in order for your child and your family to feel more successful.
