I have over 40 years of experience in virtually all aspects of accounting from acting as a full charge bookkeeper to plant controller of multiple facilities. In addition, as a former IBM business partner, I was part of a team responsible for installation of ERP solutions for over 200 companies.
Because of my experience with companies large and small, I have come to appreciate working with companies to solve their problems and assist in bringing their grownth plans to a successful conclusion.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally I provide a free 1-1/2 to 2 hour initial consultation with a new client to review their immediate needs and short term goals. I will then provide a written estimate outlining those steps necessary to ensure meeting the needs and short term goals. This can be as short as simply providing bank and credit card reconcilations for a flat fee on a monthly basis to a full forensic audit.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
All of my services are either a quoted flat rate based upon the service and number of records, i.e., flat rate of $50 for reconcilation of bank/credit cards with up to 150 transactions. Other services are time and material based.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been in accounting/IT for over 40 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My customers now tend to be smaller companies - everything from a dog groomer to a frozen food manufacturer.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would highly recommend putting together your list of things that you need done as well as your short term goals. By reviewing this list with the potential pro, it will enable you to better judge if this is a fit.
