What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have 3 processes through to COVID:
1. In person tax preparation (Face Mask Required)
2. Online/Mobile Process (upload all documents via app/secure portal, can fully chat within the profile)
3. Virtual Tax Preparation (Tax meeting over Zoom/Google Meet)
4. Over the Phone tax preparation (No Video)

How did you get started in this business?
When I was in college, as part of intern process, we had to go work as VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistant) for one tax season. After that, I focused on mastering the craft. This year, I dediced to branch out and start my own business
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be sure to hire a tax preparer but a tax professional. A tax preparer will enter all of the information and give you the amount. A tax professional will interpret all of the information, adjust to give you the best refund and provide tax planning to assist you with the next year taxes.
