I provide services to adults and adolescents who are looking to change their pattern inlife or needs the help of a professional to help overcome a difficult time. I utilize a holistic approach by incorporating various counseling theories, my own personal and professional experiences, and biblical teachings to help individuals, couples, and families overcome difficult situations that may be interfering with their everyday life, ability to work, or the ability to btain employment. My expertise enables me to help people with physical, mental, developmental, or emotional disabilities live independently and manage the personal, social, or psychological effects of disabilities on employment or independent living.

My professional association is as a member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, National Career Development Association, and the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification. I am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor which is recognized nationally as someone who is trained to work with various disabling conditions, qualified to evaluate the needs of individuals, and skilled to assist individuals with disabilities to overcome or manage the personal, social, and psychological effects of disabilities.

I got started in this business by accident.  Originally my goal was to become a social work but ultimately the field of vocational rehabilitation was a career that I found out about by mistake.  I have met and helped a number of individuals with diabilities and various career needs and assist them in obtaining their employment goals, overcome the effects of a disability, and achieve independent living. 

I am experienced in working with individuals with developmental, orthopedic, neurological, mental, & physical disabilities including traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injuries. Additionally, I have worked with individuals who receive special education services, who has employment needs, who need mental health counseling, and individuals with a variety of disabilities.  I helped my past clients achieve independence and community integration.
