Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients are given an overview of what to expect out of Life Coaching and tasked with first answering a questionnaire to determine some key components that may be necessary in coming up with a good program plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am just finishing up my Bachelor's Degree from Liberty University in Psychology with a concentration in Life Coaching, along with a certification in Mental Health Coaching. After which, I will be working on my Master's Degree in Human Services with Life Coaching here shortly. As far as employment I work for a prestigious nursing college as an Academic Counselor where I work on life coaching as well as academic coaching for students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Life Coaching's monthly package is $400 per month. This consists of ONE phone appointment of 30 minutes per week. The first phone conversation is for an hour. This also includes texting sessions throughout the week when you might hit a bump in the road. For an extra phone call on the monthly program, it will be an extra $25 per 30 mins.
If you are looking for as-needed basis phone calls are charged at $75 per hour or $40 for 40 text messages that are sent and replied to.
How did you get started in this business?
My passion for listening and guiding others on a good path brought me down the road of Psychology where I learned about positive psychology. From there my passion grew!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with people whose children moved out, who have lost their spouses, college students struggling in college to maintain school and home, individuals looking for guidance after a divorce, and individuals struggling to find themselves after having children.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Reach out to the person and see if they can do a preliminary meeting to find out if the Life Coaching relationship will be beneficial for you both. This would give you a chance to see if Life Coaching and the coach are a good fit. You need to be able to feel comfortable talking with them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What exactly you are in need of? For example purpouses: Are you currently going through a divorce, that would require a counselor, or are you done with the divorce and needing guidance on moving forward in life?
