About

I identify as an empath and a healer. I have always been loving and nurturing, but I also have always had a desire to help others. That desire has led me to the transformative experience that is massage therapy. With 10 years of experience, I am humbled and blessed to have been allowed to lay healing hands on those that I've encountered. I graduated from Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield in 2014. I am certified in Side Lying, Table Thai, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Chair Massage, Massage for headaches and Plantar Fasciitis, Craniosacral therapy, Pre/Post Natal, Cupping, and Stretching. I have experience working with those who have acute and chronic pain management needs. As well as those with TBI, mental and emotional trauma.

    Frequently asked questions

There is an introduction and I give a little of my background. Next, I ask if they have ever had professional massage services before. If not, I explain how the sessions will go, if so, I ask what is expected of me, answer any questions, and address any concerns. Then on to the client's history, illnesses, and concerns.
I graduated from Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield Michigan. I have training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, TMJ, Plantar Fasciitis, Pregnancy, Sports Massage, and Myofascial Release to name a few.
Pricing is determined by the type of modalities involved in a given session. Some sessions involve multiple modalities such as myofascial release, and trigger point therapy for example.
I began looking for a way to help people. I thought traditional medicine was my path. I began as an EMT and then started nursing school. The stress and unpredictable nature of emergency medicine were too much for me. So, I looked into other avenues. I obtained my license as a Nail Technician but found no satisfaction. During a pedicure, I was asked if I was a massage therapist, and if not, it was something I should consider. That was more than 10 years ago and the rest is history.
I have three years of experience working directly with a physical therapist and patients who have suffered injury due to auto accidents, post-surgery, emotional trauma and mental illness, TBI, and acute and chronic pain management.
Always have a conversation with the practitioner about their strengths and weaknesses, what you expect to gain from your sessions, and any contraindications and allergies.
Are you just looking to relax, or are you looking for a dedicated professional to help manage chronic or lifelong conditions? Were you referred by your physician or physical therapist? What is your budget and the maximum you are willing to spend?
